We recently had a chance to check out Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill in Sugarhouse. Of course we have our favorite dishes that we order every time we eat at Rubio's, but this time we decided to try a few menu items we haven't had before.
Rubio's is well known for their fish tacos, we usually get those but this time we decided to mix it up by ordering the Avocado Corn Fish Taco. It did not disappoint.
The Grilled Gourmet Taco with Steak was another winner, we loved the creamy chipotle sauce.
Another new favorite is the Grilled Chicken Nachos. You can order them as an appetizer to share or eat the whole thing as a meal, yes, they are that big. They come loaded with fresh guacamole, pinto beans, salsa fresca and jack and cheddar cheese or order some of it on the side for the picky eaters.
Rubio's also has a salsa bar. While dining in you can spice up your meal any way you like with different salsa's or condiments.
